What to Expect & Booking Appointments
In-Person Reiki Session
For your In-Person Reiki Session both the you (the Client) and the Practitioner will remain fully clothed at all times. Upon arrival Client will complete a brief Client Information Form and Liability Waiver. It is preferred for the Client to remove their shoes prior receiving the session (socks may remain on if Client wishes).
Cancellation Policy
For appointments cancelled with 24+ hours notice a full refund is available, or appointment can be rescheduled for a date/time within (30) days of original appointment.
For appointments cancelled within 12+ hours notice a partial refund is available subject to a $50.00 cancellation fee, or appointment can be rescheduled for a date/time within (30) days of original appointment.
For appointments cancelled with less than 12 hours notice a partial refund is available subject to a $75.00 cancellation fee.
Reiki Session Waiver and Consent
By booking an appointment, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this waiver:
I (Client’s Name), acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to receive a Reiki session from Healing Rose Reiki and Wellness. I understand and agree to the following:
Nature of Reiki: Reiki is a simple, gentle energy technique that promotes relaxation, well-being, and stress reduction. It is not a substitute for medical treatment, diagnosis, or therapy.
Reiki may be performed via distance (e.g., Zoom, phone, etc.), light touch (e.g., “laying on of hands” without manipulation of muscles/tissue), or touch-free (i.e., hands near the body without physical touch).
I understand multiple sessions typically increase the benefits of achieving the amount of relaxation or stress reduction I am seeking.
No Medical Claims: I understand that Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. Reiki is meant to be a complement to care I may be receiving. I understand that Reiki does not take the place of medical care. I understand that it is my responsibility to see a licensed physician or licensed health care provider for any physical, emotional, or psychological concerns.
Personal Responsibility: I take full responsibility for my health and well-being during and after the session. Before the session, I will inform the practitioner of any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns.
Consent to Touch: I consent to the light, hands-on touch used in Reiki. If I prefer a non-contact session, I will communicate this to the practitioner before the session begins, as Reiki can also be practiced touch-free.
Confidentiality: My personal information and session details will be kept confidential unless required by law.
Liability Release: I release Healing Rose Reiki and Wellness, including practitioners, from any liability resulting from my Reiki session. I acknowledge that I am receiving this service voluntarily.
